The best part about April is that its full of ends and beginnings. The month hosts the beginning of the exam season and the end of the academic year. The true end of Winter (because Canada has some very strange weather patterns) and the beginning of the warm Spring days and fresh Spring nights. With each day that the snow melts to reveal the greenery below, and as leather boots are slowly replaced with leather sandals, it feels as if a weight is lifted off of all our shoulders. The more that the sun decides to peak through the clouds and shine down on us again, the more creative I feel and fortunately, the more baking can be done.
